Hey, Law & Order: SVU Members!
UPDATE: This page needs updating... I'll get to it soon enough.
UPDATE 3/13/08: Wetpaint has done a release, which has fixed several bugs, and added the Latest Site Activity Panel above the Top Contributors Panel on the Left Column on the homepage. Thank You!
I just wanted to stop by and create a page that I can update after every Wetpaint Release! This one! I will let you know with all of the details of the release! We'll just use the Release screenshot from the CSI Wiki.
Horizontal Navigation Bar:
To provide a wider WYSIWYG editing area, the tools and functions formerly located in the right column have been reallocated as follows:
1. Personal Toolbox: The personal toolbox (where you access your profile, messages, etc.) has been relocated to a new global navigation bar across the top of the page. Just click the ‘My Profile’ link to access your messages or to go directly to your profile page.
2. Page toolbox: The wiki page tools (edit page, add tags, add To-Dos, manage page, etc.) are now aligned horizontally across the top of each wiki page. You'll see the
Add page option below the navigation menu.
3. Recent Site Activity module: The Recent Activity module has been removed from the home page and replaced by the new and vastly improved
What’s New site area. You'll see the access point to it in the horizontal green bar above the navigation menu. This feature has been re-added!
3. What’s New:
This new activity dashboard contains site-wide notifications on changes to pages and threads. Additionally it includes notification of a number of community-oriented changes such as friend connections, the sending of compliments, and new members.
4. Site Members Page Redesign: The Site Members area, accessible from the
Members link in the horizontal menu, has received a facelift, and now provides easy ways to filter members by role or friends. You can also sort (yes, sort!) the member lists by the number of page edits and threads they’ve made as well as by their join date, most recent activity, and username.
5. Promote area:The Admins and Budde have access to the Promote this wiki section of the site, which just helps us out with getting this in Google and Yahoo!
Alex Berg, Wetpaint's Product Development, Vice President, and User Expirence Guy has posted more information on this action-packed release on Wetpaint Central.
Please post bugs, and feedback in the thread section, they will be sent to the Wetpaint Team!
