Elliot and Olivia have a rather complicated relationship. It depends on how you view their relationship wether or not you feel at all 'shippy' about them, but most of the SVU fans out there do!!

Romantic Relationship:

A lot of shippers will note that most people they work with or who observe them say their 'relationship' not their 'partnership'. Elliot and Olivia have worked together for almost 10 years and have been through thick and thin together, every little thing bringing them closer together. Liv has been there for El when he was going through his divorce and she's always there for him when he is in one of his moods or a case or something personal is really getting to him. He is a hard person to handle and she seems to be the only one who can calm him down and the only person that he will listen too. The same goes for Liv, for he is the only thing in her life, having coming from a family background and being the result of a tragic event that she really knows nothing about. He means everything to her. He is always there for her, although their partnership started going south after they experienced their own traumatic event of nearly losing each other to a perp they were after (Fault, S7). There feelings for each other were plainly obvious after that and all the way through the rest of the seasons up to our recent season 10.
